At present, textile mills generally use two types of core yarn packages, cone yarn packages and bobbin yarn packages. The core yarn is generally a bobbin in parallel packages, but a traditional tapered bobbin can also be used with an axial unwinding method. Through comparative experiments, we choose the flat cone yarn package with the best spinnability. During the unwinding process, proper unwinding tension should be maintained to ensure that the core yarn does not appear to be slack, and the spandex yarn pre-drafting device that produces traditional spandex core-spun yarn is not required. The winding length of the cone yarn is long, and the splicing is less, which effectively guarantees the quality of the yarn and reduces the labor intensity of the workers. The self-developed device solves the technical problems of the unwinding of the cone yarn and the conveying of the core yarn.
