The traditional Chinese solar calendar divides the year into 24 solar terms. Major Heat, (Chinese: 大暑), the 12th solar term of the year, begins this year on July 23 and ends August 6.
During Major Heat, most parts of China enter the hottest period of the year.
In China, the 24 solar terms were created thousands of years ago to guide agricultural production. But solar term culture is still useful today to guide people's lives through special foods, cultural ceremonies and even healthy living tips that correspond with each term.
During the Major Heat period, Hebei Jingze Textile Co., LTD shows its concerns to its staff. First, this company provides air container in the dormtory, administration office, and dining hall. Second, the company provides hot water 24 hours per day so our employees can take a bath at ease. The working enviroment is rather relaxed, and the boss concern for staff very much.
This summer meets unusually hot temperatures in many places of China. Since all workers in our factory work inside, the heat doesn't matter much. We are waiting for the coming Autumn.
